About the instructor:
Petra Dierkes-Thrun (@petradt) is a Lecturer in the Comparative Literature Department at Stanford University and the author of Salome’s Modernity: Oscar Wilde and the Aesthetics of Transgression (University of Michigan Press, 2011). She also co-edits The Latchkey: Journal of New Woman Studies (together with Sharon Bickle, University of Queensland), an international academic open-access journal affiliated with The Oscholars and published by The Rivendale Press (UK), and serves as advisory editor for boundary 2 (Duke University Press) and editorial board member for Rodopi’s Dialogue series.
